Charles “Charlie” Andrew Claybrook, 31, died Thursday, November 14, 2019. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, November 18, 2019, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Holy Savior Catholic Church, 1209 Indiana, Wichita. Charlie loved to travel and see every corner of the country. He was a free spirit who loved children and animals, had a giving heart, and enjoyed helping others. He enjoyed playing basketball and running. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Thomas Schoenhofer; grandparents, Ivan and Audrian Hart; dog, Grace. Survived by his father, Patrick Lix of San Clemente, CA; mother, Carol Anne Claybrook of Fort Lauderdale, FL; sister, Alyson Schoenhofer of San Antonio, TX; brother, Adam Claybrook of Jersey City, NJ; grandparents, Marvin and Susan Lix of Nashville, TN. Charlie is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, including our furry four legged ones. Memorial contributions may be made to your local mental health and/or homeless outreach organizations. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to serve one day at your local homeless shelter.
