Charles “Charlie” Deitchler, 73, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 16, 2025. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Friday, October 17, 2025, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Emily (Hauptman) Deitchler; and brother-in-law, Bill Arens.
He is survived by his wife, Pam Deitchler; sons, Matt (Carli) Deitchler, Ryan (Megan) Deitchler; grandson, Mason; sisters, Phyllis Arens, Debbie Barnett; brothers, Dave (Cathy) Deitchler, Larry (Betsy) Deitchler, Jeff (Marcia) Deitchler, Chris (Jill) Deitchler; and his sweet dog, Sage.
Charlie retired from CED inside sales and worked part-time for Downing & Lahey Mortuary. He volunteered as a Wichita Reserve Police Officer for 10+ years and in various capacities over 30+ years with St. Joseph Catholic Church and School. He will be greatly missed.
