Charles "Chuck" Edward Grams

Charles "Chuck" Edward Grams, age 75, went home to heaven on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. After a short autoimmune disease battle and two weeks in the hospital, he peacefully passed away with his wife, two children, daughter-in-law, and two sisters at his side.
Chuck was a dedicated husband, dad, G-Pa, brother, cousin, and friend. He loved each of his roles in life and everyone who knew Chuck couldn’t help but love him, too. Chuck was born on February 19, 1950, to Richard and Bernice Grams. He grew up in Evans, Colorado and attended college at the University of Northern Colorado where he met the love of his life, Sandy. They were married on February 10, 1973, and spent 52 wonderful years together. During those years, Chuck was a proud dad of two children, and loved every moment with them, whether watching Tiffany’s dance recitals, traveling with Landon’s hockey team, or snowmobiling and boating as a family. He retired from a successful dry cleaning business in Denver and then began volunteering at Denver International Airport. His two favorite jobs were helping those who needed assistance boarding Frontier airlines in wheelchairs and de-icing the airplanes in some of the worst Colorado winter weather. Chuck was also the best “G-Pa” to his six grandchildren. He loved spending time with them and watching them grow up.
Chuck also loved fishing and always dreamed of having a home in Florida with a boat to access the deep waters. He spent the last couple years between Kansas and Florida, spending time with his grandkids in Kansas and Arkansas, while enjoying that Florida life he always wanted. His smile, laughter, light-hearted jokes, and amazing hugs will be deeply missed.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Tiffany (John) Feider of Fayetteville, AR; son, Landon Charles (Megan) Grams of Maize, KS; six grandchildren, Audria, Aaron and Aviella Feider, and Eli, Seth and Isaac Grams; sisters, Alyce (Dave) Hagler and Leann (Charlie) Sander, along with a host of family and friends who have all been touched by his life.
A prayer vigil will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 7:00 pm, and Funeral Mass on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10:30 am, both at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 3642 N Ridge Rd, Wichita, KS. Graveside service will take place Friday, June 13, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Resthaven Cemetery, 11800 US-54, Wichita, KS.
Memorials have been established with two charities Chuck loved: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105) and Tunnel to Towers Foundation (2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306).

Chuck lit up the room with his smile and quick-wit. I remember listening to the tone of voice change as he prepared to deliver a joke. He will be missed!
“Charles “Chuck” Grams” my brother, brought so many gifts to our life. We will never forget him!
I will keep the good memories together close to my heart. May Chuck rest in peace. Sending my caring prayers to family and friends.
We were blessed to meet Chuck and Sandy through our old neighbors and good friends Landon and Megan. We spent a lot of time with Chuck at soccer practices, games, and family gatherings. He was such a great man and friend and we had a lot of great conversations. Chuck was so kind to everyone and never knew a stranger. He will be greatly missed. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.
With love and prayers, the Conover family.
We are deeply sorry for your loss. Praying for peace and comfort for the entire Grams family.
I was so saddened to read of Chuck’s passing, even though years had passed since we last spoke. I will always remember his humor and presence from when we were growing up and through the years we worked together in college. He will be truly missed. My sincerest condolences to his entire family and friends.
