Preceded by parents, 3 brothers; 3 sisters. Survivors: wife, Nettie Jo; daughter, Vanessa Albrecht (Darren); sons, Kevin (Denise), Kenton (Tami), all of Wichita; grandchildren, Joshua Berning (Michelle), Nathan Berning (Carrie), Tyler Bindrum (Sammy), Tanner Albrecht, Alex, Aaron and Abby Bindrum; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat Peverley and Betty Johannsen of Lyons.
