Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. My condolences to the family of Roy McDowell. I knew Roy in his role as the sales rep for Stanley Bostitch. Among other things, I remember Roy for the laughter that he brought to our business when he was around. He was never at a loss for jokes. I appreciated Roy for being friendly, sincere and honest is our working relationship.

  2. LeeRoy was a special man who married my cousin Cora Lea when I was a little girl. He was loved by my family, from my grandparents down to my children. He and Cora Lea did so many things for my brother & I from building a bike for my brother to taking us for that wonderful Pizza Hut pizza when he worked there. They meant so much to my grandparents, my mom (Virginia) and my Uncle Bill. If we needed anything they were there. I loved his sence of humor, always had a joke, even from his bed in ICU. What a great guy, one we loved very much & so thankful to have had in our lives all these years.

  3. Roy: It is with great sadness to hear of your passing, We had many good times on our Enterprise travels, the great conversations we had about your putt putt and your love of railroading, especially when you invited me to partake in a trip with the club, I had so much fun and enjoyed your company, I know you are at peace with yor beloved wife, Carolyn and I will miss you, may you be forever with the Lord in Heaven.

  4. LeeRoy you were a wonderful uncle. I will miss you dearly. I will especially miss your great jokes. You truly had an amazing personality that I wish everyone could have. You knew how to make people laugh and smile. Dad is really going to miss your company and friendship that brothers should all have.

  5. Your being one of the true icons and personalities of early Pizza Hut will make your memory lasting until we are all gone.
