Charlotte "Lottie" Jean Harris
88, beautiful wife and mother, died peacefully at home Friday, August 10, 2018. Celebration of Life Service, 11 a.m. Saturday, August 18 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. The family would like for everyone to please wear something colorful to the service. Lottie is survived by her best friend and husband of 69 years, Joseph C. Harris, Sr. She was preceded in death by brother, Roscoe Fox; daughter, Charlotte "Sissy" Harris; son, Jeff Harris, and grandson, Jonny Harris. Other survivors include: brother, Charles Fox (Marguerite); sons, Joe Harris, Jr. (Stess), Jim Harris (Patty), Jason Harris (Susan) and JohnMark Harris; daughter, Rebecca Drake (Curtis); daughter-in-law, Tami Harris; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219. Downing and Lahey Mortuary West.
My entire family have great memories of Charlotte and her family. Heaven has received a new angel. Love and prays from the Val and Louise Brooks family.
We had the pleasure of being neighbors of Joe and Charlotte for the past 13 years. We will miss her cheerful greetings and sometimes daily calls to help find her phone. Our deepest sympathy to the Harris family. Ron and Sharon Southern.
She was a Joy and blessing to be around. She was my Sunday School teacher 40 years ago. What a home coming she will have. Peace and comfort to the family.
