Charlotte Sheri Kringen

Kringen, Charlotte “Sheri,” 70, Retired in 2007, after 30 years service as a school nurse in the Mulvane school district, died Sunday, April 28, 2013. Visitation will be from 6:30 - 8:30 P.M., Friday, May 3, 2013, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, May 4, 2013, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Catherine Andersen; brother, Paul; sister, Judy. Survived by her husband, Ron of Wichita; sons, Kent (Theresa) Kringen of Shawnee, KS, Scott (Adrienne) Kringen of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Tyler, Erika, Jasper, and Eli; siblings, Dr. Philip (Libby) Andersen of Tampa, FL, Tom (Julie) Andersen of Des Moines, IA, Karl (Linda) Andersen, Mary (John) Freeman, of Rochester, MN; sister-in-law, Jane Andersen of Spicer, MN; and many nieces and nephews. In 2005, Charlotte received the Kansas University School of Nursing Heartland Award, which recognizes outstanding registered nurses in Kansas and the Greater Kansas City Area. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Alzheimers Association, 347 S. Laura St., Wichita, KS 67211.
