No one could be turned to for wiser counsel or more faithful support. She was steadfastly devoted to her clients, past and present. Her healing will ripple forward for generations, continuing to create a better world through lives more healthy and whole. No one we know has searched for God like Chris did throughout her life. She was faithful to a daily practice and sought out or offered learning and sharing experiences of faith with those around her. Chris’ strength, courage, and faith were evident in the way she faced many chronic, tough, painful, physical challenges. What the future might have held for Chris’ physical health could be concerning, but nothing got in the way of her positive commitment to keep going. Her husband, Mike, shares “I was so lucky to have been her husband and best friend for almost 40 years. She was a beautiful and amazing woman who helped and guided many people, including me. I’m not sure what I will do without her.”Her family can see her smiling face and hear her laugh of delight as she embraces a more radiant and authentic reality. Love pouring from her eyes, she is dancing and twirling painlessly in the full and loving presence of a grateful God.In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the East Wichita YMCA, 9333 E.
