  1. My prayers are for you all. I met Chris at QT. He was a good friend of my husbands, and he would always stop in to talk to Chris after he got off work. I started working down the street from Quik Trip & my husband Robbie introduced me to Chris. I went in everyday to feed my Diet Dr Pepper addiction and became friends with him also. In the year 2000, I was working at a Magnet School sign up event & saw him and his family walking towards me. I was totally shocked when I saw them! His wife Ellen & I have been friends since we were little. I had talked to her about her husband over the years, but had never met him in person, and had no idea that I already knew him. After that, we all started going out for dinner and became very good friends as couples. It really is such a small world. We are going to miss Chris dearly and will always be there for Ellen when she needs us. Rosie & Robbie Britton

  2. Elizabeth and Family, My condolences to you, I can’t imagine loosing a parent. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Hugs Elizabeth

  3. I met Chris when I was on the midnight shift of the Wichita Police Department and he was working midnights at Quick Trip. Chris was always a cheerful, outgoing, kind person who made every day better. With his magic act name of Chris Starr, he earned the name “Starman” as dubbed by my wife. Ad Astra, Starrman Darrell Haynes
