Siebert, Cleo Rebecca “Jean”, 100, homemaker and dedicated volunteer, passed away May 19th, 2010. Family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the graveside services on Saturday, May 22, at 11:00 a.m. at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Jean was born April 15, 1910 in Stafford County and graduated from Salt City Business College in Hutchinson. It is there that she met Arlie Siebert to whom she was married for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Emma Nesbitt, husband, Arlie B. Siebert, grandson Matthew Machacek, step-granddaughter, Melissa Cheatwood., sisters, Sue Clowers, Rachael Gibson, Betty Sparks and brother Venner Nesbitt. Survivors, sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Carolyn Siebert of Scotland, MD, Jim and Kathy Siebert, of Wichita; daughter and son-in-law Becky and Wes Machacek of Wichita; grandchildren, Molly Dalke, Mandy Fellows and Mike Siebert; great-grandchildren, Sierra, Davis, Lauren, Colin, Lindsey and Grant. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to Plymouth Congregational Church., 202 N Clifton, Wichita, 67208. Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the graveside services on Saturday, May 22, at 11:00 a.m. at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

  2. We were sorry to learn of Jean’s passing. She was always a breath of fresh air in Assisted Living where my mother Sue Lillig also lives. It was Jean who was outside walking the sidewalk for fitness in her earlier days there, and Jean who greeted us by the cozy fire place lobby more recently. May she rest in Peace.
