Meador, Clyde D Sr., 85, passed away Thursday, March 10. 2011. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 ~ 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 13 with the Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 14, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Clyde retired as an Assistant Vice President with Western Union. Preceded in death by wife, Clara (Richmond) Meador and brother, George W. Meador. Survivors: son, Dr. Clyde Meador Jr. (Elaine) of Richmond, VA; daughters, Nancy LePage of Richmond, VA and Susan Vetter (John) of Valley Center, KS; sisters, Dorothy Carter of North Little Rock, AR, Jean Howard of West Monroe, LA and Carolyn Ragland of Jacksonville, FL; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the International Mission Board, Box 6767, Richmond,, VA, 23230.
