Cole Nevin Clifton

Clifton, Cole Nevin, 12, Wilbur Junior High student, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014. Cole was born in Wichita on July 11, 2001. From the moment he entered this world, until the moment he left, he was Mr. Personality with a zest for life like no other. Not a day went by that he didnt have a smile on his face, even during his 3-year battle with leukemia. He loved all sports, playing video games, being the center of attention and flirting with pretty girls. To know Cole was to love Cole, and loved he was. Preceded in death by grandfather, Robert Clifton. Survivors: mother and stepfather, Angela and Duke Norris; father, Kyle Clifton; brothers, Austin and Tyler Clifton; grandmothers, Teresa Underwood, Etta Standley, all of Wichita, and Shari Clifton of Conroe, TX; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation with the family, 5-7 p.m., Thursday, March 20, Downing Lahey West. Service, 1 p.m., Friday, March 21, Pathway Church, followed by a graveside service at 3:30 p.m., El Paso-Hillcrest Cemetery in Derby.
