Corinne Rose Nofire

Corinne Rose Nofire Mommy’s boo boo, daddy’s sugar, Melinda’s sissy, and everyone’s miracle, went to be with God and fly with the angels Saturday August 29th, 2020. Our miracle defied all odds from the day she was born and marched to the beat of her own drum. She was smart, beautiful, sassy, and so kind. She formed a special relationship with everyone she met and impacted people across the world. She radiated joy and happiness. She taught people to believe in miracles, cherish every single moment, and never take one day of this life for granted. Corinne loved being a good mommy to her baby dolls, being with her family, watching Daniel Tiger, singing, dancing, dumping every single bucket of toys on the floor, playing with everyone’s hair, but HATED bedtime. There is not a moment that goes by that we will not miss every single thing about her. She will be greatly missed by anyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Enjoy every moment in heaven precious girl. Until we meet again. “And if the whole wide world stops singing And all the stars go dark I'll keep a light on in my soul Keep a bluebird in my heart” Visitations will be Wednesday, September 2, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., and again from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m., Thursday, September 3, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. The Trisagion and Funeral Ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 3, at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral. Graveside service, 11 a.m., Friday, September 4, Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Goddard, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial established with Corinne Rose’s Walk to End Hydrocephalus: https://secure2.convio.net/hydro/site/TR/WALK/General?pg=team&fr_id=1583&team_id=6582

Guestbook

  1. Jason worked with you in LIEAP. can’t begin to tell and your wife how terribly sorry we are for your loss. You have lots of friends who are praying for you. We truly love you and your precious wife. Donna Sandifer

  2. I am so so sorry for your loss. What a gift Corinne is to the world and those that were able to know her. Her bright spirit will shine forever.

  3. I never met your precious Corinne, little C-Rose, but I feel as though I knew her through Jessica’s adorable photos and videos with her. There was something about her. A special light that drew people to her. She was a shining star in a dark world. And that she will continue to be. I’m reminded of this verse from “For Good” from Wicked: “I’ve heard it said That people come into our lives For a reason Bringing something we must learn And we are led to those Who help us most to grow if we let them And we help them in return Well, I don’t know if I believe that’s true But I know I’m who I am today Because I knew you” Corinne touched the lives and hearts of many around the world. She is not gone. She is forever in the hearts of those who loved her, who knew her, who admired her strength. Jess, you know I’m praying for you right now. Jennifer and Jason, though we never met, I’m grateful for the chance to have gotten to know your baby girl’s story through Jess. Watching her grow, seeing her sing, and admiring her pure, unbridled joy was a privilege to witness, if even from afar. I will keep her light in my heart, as many people around the world will be doing as well. Much love and many prayers. Brittany Holland Little Rock, Arkansas
