  1. I have known Dale, Err I mean Mr. Dunn since my Jr. High school days in 1976. He was like a father to me and truly one of the kindest, Nicest and funniest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to have in my Life. I have kept in contact with Dale and Karen thru the years going on road trips with them and seeing them at the WSU basketball games. I just love the kind of people that they are and he really was just a jewel of a Man. Karen I am soo sorry for your loss as we all feel the same loss due to Dale being the great person we all knew him to be. Several years back we took a tour of old Mead Jr. high school his old stomping ground and you should have seen his eyes light up…He loved his family and his friends the same as he was always ready to tell a joke and always had a wonderful smile on his face. He will be missed very very much, Just know that… Love, Lynn and Joyce

  2. Saepe Expertus, Semper Fidelis, Fratres Aeterni. Often Tested, Always Faithful, Brothers Forever. Thank you Dale for your service to this nation. U.S. Marine Corps, Korean War.

  3. Dale was the best cousin anyone could ask for. Such a kind, funny, gentle man. We will miss you til we meet again in heaven. Love to all

  4. Dale was such a gem, and always a source of encouragement and gave a kind word to everyone he met. Greeting, ushering, leading in any area of hospitality gave him great joy and he lived by example of serving others and showing Christ to all he met. Truly one of the nicest men I have ever met. Love to his sweet family. Janet Eldridge

  5. Dale was my principal at Allison Junior High back in the 70s when I was a young teacher. Later I became an administrator and often met with and worked with dale at district events. He was one of the nicest men I ever worked with. My family was living in Burlingame when I was born, but I regret I never got to know the Dunns because the Santa Fe Railroad moved my Dad to Emporia. I also remember seeing Dale every election working the polls at what was then still called Westlink Christian Church on Tyler Road. Rest in peace my good friend!

  6. Aunt Karen, Kip and Kayla — I can’t put into words what Uncle Dale meant to me. I have SO many fond memories of Jack, Bob, Dale, Jane and mom (Doris Ann) together, listening to all the STORIES! Wonderful service today for a wonderful man. Much love to you all. Sally
