Dale Wayne Roach

September 15, 1945 ~ October 17, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dale Wayne Roach of Wichita, Kansas. Dale departed at the age of 78 on October 17, 2023, when pancreatic cancer ended his record-winning run as The Unkillable Man. Dale’s wife Cynthia, daughter Amanda, daughter Abby, son Zack, grandchildren Colby, Penelope, Cain, Ramsey, Alex and Charlotte, children by marriage Shai and Todd, trusted friends (along with pretty much every person who knew him), will remember Dale as the man who took care of everyone, even when sometimes they probably didn’t deserve it. But that was Dale - forever optimistic, loving, and strong. Beyond the pearly gates, Dale joins his parents, Jim and Frances, who already have the chicken and noodles waiting on the table.
Listing all of Dale’s accomplishments is not possible, but back in the day when people consulted paper encyclopedias for information, Dale Roach appeared under “Most Devoted Husband,” “Best Dad Ever,” and “Most Universally Admired Business Mogul.” Later, when Google took over as everyone’s source of information, his picture was the first hit for all these terms - buying the ad words wasn’t even necessary. Basically, whatever a man was supposed to accomplish to be considered a Good Man, Dale became the Olympic Gold Medalist, the Nobel Prize Winner, the Oscar Winning Best Director, of Good Men.
A service and reception will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at The Winslet (1550 N Lindberg Cir, Wichita, KS 67206) from 3-6pm.
