Daniel L. Blick

Daniel L. Blick, of Wichita, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 17, 2016, following a battle with cancer. Rosary followed by a visitation will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Thursday, January 21 at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at the church on Friday, January 22 at 10 a.m. Dan Blick was born to Nicholas and Anna Marie Blick on June 16, 1944 in Maize, Kansas. He graduated from Kapaun High School in Wichita in 1962 and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wichita University in 1967. Dan was the owner of BBCo, a marketing design firm in Wichita, for 43 years. After college, he served six years in the Army Reserve. He was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, a regular volunteer at the Lords Diner, and supporter of WSU sports, especially its basketball team. Coach Greg Marshall often consulted Dan for advice on how to defeat its most feared opponents. Dan loved golf and was a member of Rolling Hills Country Club. He is survived by his daughters, Corri Reichert (Michael) and Dana, all of Dallas, TX; son, Ryan of Chicago, IL; grandsons, Noah and Ian; brothers, Larry (Susan), of Independence, MO and Phil of Pocatello, ID; sisters, Joan Simon (Jim) of Booneville, AR and Jean Farmer of Wichita.
