Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Dan and I went to Sacred Heart Grade School and Emporia High School. The most memorable time recently was when he and I attended Mickey Fitzpatrick\’s funeral in Emporia. Dan brought me up to date on his activities and his hobbies. We had many friends that allowed us to reminisce. Dan was always fun. My prayers are witrh him and his family.

  2. Dan was a special person who always had a positive outlook that I have always admired and he was a close collecting buddy. Our meetings will not be the same without Dan being there. He will be sorely missed by all his friends in KLPCA Tom Allen President KLPCA

  3. Dan’s passing is a sad thing for all that have known him. He was always vey thoughful and wanted to help everyone find the collectables they were looking for. I met Dan many years ago, because of license plate collecting, and when we met, it seemed like we had been friends forever. Those who met Dan, will never forget him. He always had something possitive to add to the moment.

  4. Sad to learn of Dan’s passing. Met Dan a few years ago at the Wichita Flea Market where he had a license plate booth. He was always happy in what he was doing and with each visit he was interested in what my current license plate interests were and how he could help me find what I was looking for. Dan had a good sense of humor, unique perspectives of collecting and most important, he was a very good person. He will be missed. My condolences to his wife and family.

  5. My thoughts and prayers are with Dan’s family. I have known Dan for many years through his license plate collecting. His funny hat, jokes and overall presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

  6. I truly am so sorry about Dan. I have seen Dan only a couple of times. I always was tickled when he would call the house to speak to my husband. Dan was a joker and i like to kid around also…i got his jokes. I hope you (Dans wife) will be okay and if you ever need anything i will be glad to help.

  7. If there was a person who made going to a Kansas license plate meet it was Dan. I called the auction at the meet in Lawrence KS and when I do this I usually become the ‘Straight Man’, and Dan played his role quite well. Dan was a unique man and he will be sorely missed. The Board, Members and the Families of The Heartland Region send their condolences to the family and to the members of the KLPCA

  8. I never knew a more congenial or personable man than Dan Prchal. It was a pleasure to know and work with him at Boeing. I know that his presence will surely be missed by his family and friends. This world needs more Dan Prchals. My sincerest condolence…Ernie Johnson
