Chavez, Daniel Luis, 36 of Murfreesboro, TN died Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Rosary will be 7:00 pm Sunday, April 10, 2011 Downing Lahey West Mortuary with Mass of The Christian Burial 11:00 am Monday, April 11, 2011 St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church both in Wichita, KS. Survivors include partner; Shane Reed of Murfreesboro, TN, parents Daniel Hope Chavez of Katy, TX, brothers Zachary J., Isac Randy Chavez all of Katy, TX, sisters Dalia(Troy) Hobelman of Katy, TX, Jennifer(Jason) Hubbard of Wichita, KS, Laura Chavez of Katy, TX and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Chavez will be in State Sunday from 2:00 PM Sunday, April 10, 2011 until The Starting of the Rosary 7:00 PM at Downing Lahey West Mortuary. The Mass of the Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday, April 11, 2011 St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church both in Wichita, KS.

To the Chavez family: I am a friend of Danny\’s. I met Danny when we were younger in California, lost contact with him, then he found me on my-space. I spoke to him a lot, on the phone. I lost contact with him late February. Danny loved you all so much. He was very upset he missed the \’Halloween\’ event, you know, he would have been there if he could have been. He told me of the sweet sixteen and how he dj\’d, he loved that. He came back all excited about what the \’kids\’ were listening too, and all that. I am not on Facebook, but ppl sent me some of the comments left for Danny. I loved Danny very much. My heart is broken. I live in New York. I want to send flowers and a mass card to his Mom/Dads house or his sister. I think I have the right address. I will fly down when I can to visit Danny\’s grave., Pay my respects to him, if thats okay. I am sending all my love & prayers out to you all. I went to church last night and said a rosary, lit a candle, I wore something red., for him, for you.. Danny was very \’special\’ to me. I have no doubt he is in angel school in heaven.
