Danny Dan Hirschler

Danny "Dan" Hirschler 78, a successful business owner and entrepreneur, a loving husband, a wonderful father and a loyal friend, died on January 28, 2018. Dan was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Virginia and Wiley Hirschler on February 14, 1939. He married, RoseMary Brenner, on October 24, 1964 in Wichita, Kansas. They were married for 53 years. Father, husband and life of the party, Dan enjoyed his hunting, fishing, playing cards and spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones. Dan is survived by his wife, RoseMary; sons, Daniel (Jill) and William "Bill" (Sharon); daughters, Sheila Hirschler McGown and Michelle (Justin) Hirschler Mayo; grandchildren, Luke (Lindsey) Hirschler, Madilynn Hirschler, Mackenzie Hirschler, McKendrey McGown, Ainsley Mayo, Audrey Mayo, Reese Hirschler and Katherine "Kate" Hirschler; sister, Patricia Medcalf, and brother, Robert (Sherry) Hirschler. Rosary, 7 p.m., Friday, February 2; Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 3, both at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
