Darryl D. Kutz

Darryl D. Kutz, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015, in Wichita, KS. Darryl was born October 8, 1938, in Sawyer, KS. He was preceded in death by parents, Harry and Elsie Lou (Wilcox) Kutz; brothers, Robert, Don, John and Walt, and daughter, Kristy. Survivors: wife of 25 years, Patsy; daughters, Darcy McCoy (Dana) of El Dorado, Cindy Neely (Art) of Lenexa; grandchildren, Danielle (David), Daric, Kyle and Brett; stepchildren, Cheryl Virgil (Bruce) of Austin, TX, Robert Richmond (Courtney) of Houston, TX, and step-grandchildren, Kristyna, Jacob, Kira, Jaden, and Renae. Darryl served in the Navy from 1955-59. He had a long career as a plumber and was a member of First UMC in Wichita where he participated in numerous mission work teams and the Seekers SS class. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First UMC Television Ministry, 330 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67202. A Celebration of Life Service will be held, 2 p.m., Friday, September 25 at First United Methodist Church, with visitation following the service. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.
