The movie” Stand by me” was kind of us from 1958 to 1967. You will always be part of who I am. Rest in peace D. B.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
Over the years we had so many experiences with Daryl and all those close to him I wouldnt know where to start. Daryl was one-of-kind and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
I met Daryl through John Lambert in the early 70s, when they were together at Natures Way plant shop. A kind and gentle soul, and he will be missed. Sincerest condolences to the family.
Dear Taylor, We didnt really know your dad but we do care about you and we are so sorry for your loss.Keep Hudson and Tollie close. Sincerely, Tom and Suzie Melland,
TAYLOR,, I AM SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR DADS PASSING,, I WAS IN SHOCK WHEN I HEARD,, HE WAS A GREAT MAN AND A GREAT BOSS AT NATURES WAY!! GOD BLESS YOU IN THIS VERY DIFFICULT TIME
Daryl, ‘D’ as his friends called him was a fierce competitor and good friend. He always had your back, a solid guy whom those who knew him had a great respect for. My good friend Rex Curfman looked after Daryl in his later years, thank you Rex for that kindness and your phone call letting me know of Daryls passing. I am saddened by this news but grateful for the years of friendship we had. RIP ‘D’ and see you later…
Daryl was one of my good friends at Roosevelt junior high and East High school. I loved hanging out at his house on Friday nights. His Dad, Henry, welcomed all of Daryls friends and always seemed to have plenty of snacks for us guys to eat. My God comfort you all as you grieve the loss of Daryl.
Daryl loved life and had a spirit that showed his enthusiasm for life that was infectious.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
