David Alan Williams was welcomed into heaven on January 29, 2021. David was married to Ann Williams on August 24, 1991. David graduated with honors from University of Kanas with a degree in history where he became fluent in Mandarin Chinese. His first job out of college was working for the Governor of the State of Kansas, Robert Bennett. Later in life he went back school to get his law degree from Washburn University where he was a member of the Dean’s Society. At Martin Pringle Law Firm he was appointed partner attorney. Wayne Wallace recruited David to join the legal department at Beech Aircraft to be a corporate attorney. He continued his career as the Vice President General Counsel at Raytheon. Greg Parkhurst and David then formed their own company, Legacy Aero Group, where they were successful with aircraft brokerage. David served on the board of directors for Heartspring, Music Theatre of Wichita, and The Kansas Aviation Museum. David was loved by his wife Ann Williams, son Brent Williams daughter Emma Williams, of Wichita. His father, Clarence E. Williams, and mother, Harriet E. Williams, have preceded him in death. His brother Robert Williams and sister Ann Williams both of Bella Vista Arkansas survive him. David had a large loving family including: Erin and Drew McEwen, Elaine and Cameron Lokey, Patricia and Kolby Cornejo, Mary and Eric Fisher, Morgen Fisher, Simone and Jake Reinhardt and their daughter Poppy; Perri Fisher, Gabe Fisher; Jon and Molly Cyphert, Roc and Elizabeth Cyphert; Cappy Cyphert, Mary Jane Cyphert, Thomas Cyphert and Michael Cyphert; Erin Gray, Camden Gray, Meghan and David Plessinger and their daughters Lydia, Clara, Valerie and Caroline. Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday February 3, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1215 N. Stratford Ln Wichita, KS 67206. Services will be Live Streamed through St. Thomas' YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/user/stthomaswichita Memorials for David Williams have been set up at Good Shepherd Hospice and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Services in care of Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
