David Doc Callahan

Callahan, David “Doc”, 84, passed away at the Catholic Care Center in Bel Aire, KS, Thursday, February 24, 2005, after a short illness. David was born and raised in the metro Kansas City area. After a tour in the military during WWII, David moved to Wichita, KS. He worked with the United States Department of Agriculture as an inspector. He was a faithful member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He leaves behind a nephew, Michael Callahan and his wife, Dee of K.C., MO and a niece, Patricia Callahan of Olathe, KS. Visitation with family 5:00 ~ 7:00 P.M., Friday, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will be 1:00 P.M., Monday, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, K.C., KS. Memorials have been established with Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 124 N. Roosevelt, Wichita, KS, 67208 and Catholic Care Center, 6700 E. 45th St. N., Bel Aire, KS 67226. Visitation with family 5:00 ~ 7:00 P.M., Friday, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Interment 1:00 P.M., Monday, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, KC, KS.
