David Louis Nuessen, 69, retired Tennant Company Mechanic, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am, Monday, October 10, 2022, at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Preceded in death by his parents, Louis A. and Edith Evelyn Nuessen. Survived by his brothers, Mark Nuessen of Wichita, KS, John (Dianna) Nuessen of North Little Rock, AR; sisters, Hazel Grimm of Wichita, KS, Victoria (Michael) Landwehr of Vero Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Union Rescue Mission, 2800 N. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67219 Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.

I heard at David’s memorial service that he was an instigator. I can attest to that. I remember David and myself climbing the outside of Davis Hall at Freinds U. He was always in the lead looking up, while I was behind looking down.
