David M. Lang

David M. Lang, loving husband, father and brother, 68, retired Production Foreman at Cessna, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022. David worked for numerous years in law enforcement in Kentucky. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed the outdoors immensely. He also participated in trapshooting competitions, enjoyed cars and all types of racing. David’s faith and love of God were unmeasurable. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Pathway Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Cliffye Jo Lang. Survived by his wife, Kathy Lang; sister, Melinda (Mark) Schamer; son, Brandon (Jen) Lang; several extended family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Pathway Church, the Children's Ministry, 2001 N. Maize Rd., Wichita, KS 67212. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.

Sorry to hear about him. He was my foreman on the Sovereign line at Cessna. He was such a nice man to work under. I am sure everyone misses him. I am sure he upstairs watching over all of his family and friends. May God bless him🙏

I haven’t known Dave a very long time, but I am blessed to have known him. I’m even more blessed to know that his love of Christ has taken to a place where he is loved and cared for mightily by all who are there to with him.
The way Dave lived the last couple years with all he had to deal with was/is an inspiration….never heard him complain an ounce. Loved him and always will!!!
