David Mark Leiker

David Mark Leiker, 73, owner & operator of Leiker Body Shop, died Friday, October 20, 2023, surrounded by family. He inherited his incredible work ethic, full of honesty and diligence, from his own father, who began Leiker Body Shop in 1957. After learning the business from his dad, David continued it while building his own family, along with his beloved wife, Linda. Together they raised two daughters in a home filled with faith in God, and service to family. Dave’s talents went far beyond fixing cars, and could fix anything that was placed in front of him. His legacy will live on through all of us who have loved him. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, October 24 2023, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 25, 2023, both at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Celestine and Leona Louise Leiker; daughter, Morgan Leiker; brother, Darrell (Pam) Leiker. Survived by his wife, Linda Leiker; daughter and family, Katie & Christian Coffey of Wichita, KS, and children, Caleb, Adelyn and Henry Coffey; daughter and family, Hannah and Nick Dreiling of Wichita, KS, and children, Norah, Olivia, Maximilian and another Dreiling boy on the way; sisters, Janice (Terry) Higgins of Nashville, TN, and Nancy (Tim) Richards of Wichita, KS; several nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with: Blessed Sacrament Catholic School 125 N. Quentin St., Wichita, KS 67208. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
