David Wayne Banks, 69, loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend, retired director of Energy Management for USD 259, died Sunday, August 3, 2025. Memorial Service will be at 10:30 am, Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Reliance Community Church.

 

David was a member of the Hoisington Masonic Lodge, Midian Shriners and Royal Order of Jesters serving as Director in 2013. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting and time with family.

 

David is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Louise Banks; and brother, Jerry Jasnoski. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Banks; son, Nolan (Angie) Banks; daughter, Aubrey (Joshua) Southard; father, Wayne Edward Banks of Great Bend, Kansas; grandsons, Jethro David Southard, Gabriel Wayne Banks; granddaughters, Millicent Renee Southard, Phoebe Elizabeth Banks; brother, James (Patricia) Jasnoski;  sister, Mary (Chris) Gregerson of Leavenworth, KS; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Midian Shrine Plane of Mercy, c/o Midian Shrine Temple, 130 North Topeka, Wichita, KS 67202.
