David Wayne Ervin, 61, retired painter at Cessna Aircraft, died Sunday, May 19, 2024. A private family service will be held. Preceded in death by his father, Gary Ervin; mother, Mary Watson; wife, Starla Ervin. Survived by his brother, Eric (Cindy) Ervin; sister, Shari Ervin, both of Wichita; numerous other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E. Rockhill St #403, Wichita, KS 67206. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
