Deborah L. Ellerbusch

Deborah L. Ellerbusch, 44, died Monday, April 2, 2018. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Deborah dedicated her life to helping children. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree at Sonoma State University In Rohnert Park,Ca. in 1999 and her Masters of Arts Degree in Psychology at Pepperdine University Malibu, Ca. in 2001. She received her Doctor of Psychology Degree from Pepperdine University in 2008. Her Doctoral Dissertation was titled: Development of an Educational Resource on Childhood Bipolar Disorder for Mental Health Professionals. Deborah was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She spent one year as a Postdoctoral Psychology Resident at the Fort peck Tribes Wellness Program Harvard Medical School Grant in Poplar,Montana. This grant was associated with the Sioux and Assiniboine Indian tribes. Until her death she worked at Prairie View in Newton Kansas as a Clinical Psychologist. A special thank you to the Asbury Park Building 1215 staff and Harry Hynes Hospice for making her as comfortable as possible in her final weeks.
