Deborah L. Myatt

Deborah L. Myatt 63, Elementary Teacher, died Saturday, May 28, 2016, surrounded by her family and friends, after complications from many health issues. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Deborah was a graduate of Southeast High School and Kansas State University, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She was a long time resident of Wichita. Deborah loved raising her son and watching him play baseball. She also enjoyed other sports, especially golf and K-State football, music theater, antiquing, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Milo and Virginia Unruh; sister, Susan R. Brookover. Survived by her son, William R. (Kelly) Myatt, Jr. of Garden City, KS; brother, Milo (Jacinda) Unruh, Jr. of Wichita, KS; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67219. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
