Campbell, DeLoise (Moyer), 86, beloved wife, mother and friend, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012. DeLoise was born in Oronoque, Norton County, Kansas, September 27, 1925 to Dosia (Smith) and Arthur C. Moyer. She moved to Watonga, Oklahoma at age 1. She then moved to Wichita in 1942, and graduated from East High School in 1943. She worked as an accountant at the Federal Land Bank and married Edward J. Campbell on November 4, 1946 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. DeLoise was a lifelong member of St. Anthony Church, Altar Society and School. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Anthony Church and active in Daughters of Isabella, Newman Book Club, 20th Century, Jolly Janes, Project Beauty, Bridge Club, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Health Strategies, Women of the Moose and the Moose Club, Funtastics Vocal Group, the Sedgwick County Federation of Womens Democratic Clubs, Charter member of Wichita Racquet Club and the National WWII Museum. And most importantly, DeLoise enjoyed dancing and travelling over the years with Ed and her family in the USA and abroad. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her only brother, Rex P. Moyer, and sister-in-law, Edith Moyer. DeLoise is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Edward, and daughters, Peggy and Sheila, and son, Lynn, all of Wichita. A viewing for family and friends will be at Downing Lahey Mortuary East, Monday evening from 6-9 p.m. A Rosary is being held on Tuesday, January 17, at 7 p.m., and the Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 18, at 11 a.m., both at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. DeLoise had an open and loving heart that touched everyone who knew her and found the most joy in the presence of her family and friends and in the happiness of others. Her beauty and grace will live in our memories. Memorials have been established with the Mayo Clinic Poverello Foundation, 200 1st St. SW, Rochester, MN 55905 and St. Anthony Catholic Church, 325 N. Ohio, Wichita, KS 67214. Viewing for family and friends, 6:00-9:00 P.M., Monday, January 16, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Rosary, 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 17, St. Anthony Catholic Church.
