Delores Earleen (Arnold) Inman, age 83, of Wichita, KS, passed away peacefully in her sleep early on June 4th, 2025, at the Wichita Presbyterian Manor.
She was born on December 12th, 1941, in Keota, Oklahoma. The daughter of the late Earl Autrey and Ruby Winifred Arnold.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Billy Ray Arnold, and her son Shawn Frisbie.
Her memory lives on through her husband, Paul L. Inman of Wichita, KS; her sons, Bernie Frisbie of Wichita, KS, Paul L. (Amy) Inman, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; daughter, Jill Arbet, of St. Louis, MO; brother, Archie (Anita) Arnold of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Raena Frisbie of Tahlequah, OK, Julianna and Kristina Inman, of Denver, CO; Dalton Costick of St. Louis, MO, Tristan Arbet of St. Louis, MO; and great granddaughter, Pan, of Tahlequah, OK.
Delores enjoyed a successful career as an insurance claims adjuster before retiring, but she will be remembered even more for her vibrant spirit. Quick-witted and always ready with a laugh, she was a sharp card player who loved friendly competition. A talented seamstress, she made many of her own clothes, baked treats that filled her home with warmth, and coaxed flowers and houseplants to life wherever she lived. For more than a decade she volunteered faithfully at Central Community Church, serving behind the scenes with diligence and integrity. She delighted in travel across the United States and abroad with her husband, yet her greatest joy was the time she spent with family, friends, and her beloved cats.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the Central Community Church Chapel, 6100 W. Maple St., Wichita. Graveside service to be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 27, 2025, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
