Denise Irene Peggs

Peggs, Denise Irene, born February 15, 1953 to Irene and William Smolkovich, joined the angels on October 8, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband, Jack; her children, Paul Tochtenhagen and Cyndi Sarigianopolis; grandchildren, Dino, C.J. and Addison; her siblings, Kathy Collins, Davey Smolkovich, and Ronnie Smolkovich. Before her sudden and unexpected passing, she enjoyed working with the elementary school students at Bostic Elementary in Wichita, Kansas, and in assisting her husband with his law practice. She was passionate in the pursuit of all life had to offer, enjoying frequent travels and spontaneous adventures with her husband. She loved movies, concerts, and, numerous sport activities including parasailing, Tae Kwon Do, and bicycling. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her generosity was boundless, always putting others before herself, and giving abundantly to those close to her, and those in need. She will be greatly missed by family, colleagues and a host of friends. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, October 13, 2014, at Downing Lahey East Mortuary. A memorial service will be held in Youngstown Ohio as well, Thursday October 16, 2014, from 5:30-7:30 P.M., Mill Creek Park Pioneer Pavilion, 870-874 Old Furnace Rd, Youngstown, OH 44511.
