Dennis Bernard Kraus, 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on April 1, 2024, at Catholic Care Center in Bel Aire. Rosary will be at 10:00 am, Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at All Saints Catholic Church, Wichita. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Dennis was born May 24, 1953 in Marion, KS to Raymond and Rita (Friess) Kraus. He graduated from Marion High School in the class of 1971. After high school, Dennis attended Kansas State University, graduating with a Bachelors degree in Agricultural Education in 1975. On September 16, 1995, Dennis married the love of his life, Joyce Trotnic, they shared 28 years of marriage.Dennis worked for Boeing Company in the Engineering Department and then retired. He then worked for Spirit for 7 years.Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Joyce; and their son, Michael, of the home; brothers, Paul (Diane) Kraus of Derby, Leroy (Ronda) Kraus of Marion; sister, Lori (Todd) Siebert of Marion; brother-in-law, Allen Trego of Muscatine, IA; sister-in-law, Vickie Kraus of Marion; several nieces and nephews; multiple friends; and the fur babies, Tico and Poncho.He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alice Trego; brother, Don Kraus.A special thank you is extended to Catholic Care Center, Good Shepherd Hospice, and Cheryl Wilson for the wonderful loving care given to Dennis during his illness.Memorials have been established with: Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E.
