Born February 7, 1949 in Minot, ND to Wendell and Francis Hatfield Haugen. He was raised in Ryder, ND and graduated from Ryder High School and Minot State College. He held various positions, completing his career with Boeing on the B-52 Program in 2008. Dennis is survived by his wife, Jody Albright whom he married in Minot, ND on August 10, 1974; and the light of his eye, his daughter, Alicea. Dennis was well known for his sense of humor and his caring nature. His much anticipated retirement turned out to be everything he had hoped for lots of free time to enjoy family and friends and make new ones. He especially liked his morning breakfast and coffee with his close friends and Saturdays with old Boeing friends. He decided to give back to the community and started driving for the Red Cross Medical Transportation Services which he thoroughly enjoyed and developed a meaningful relationship with many of his passengers.
