Diane Dolechek, 59, loving wife, mom, and grandma, died Friday, January 4, 2019. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Sunday, January 6, 2019; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Monday, January 7, 2019, both at Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Eleanor Ille. Survived by her husband, Bob Dolechek of Bel Aire, KS; daughters, Marcia (Scott) Oden of Newton, KS, Debbie (Gage) Ridder of Denver, CO; sons, Luke (Amanda) Dolechek, Mark (Sheena) Dolechek, both of Wichita, KS, John (Gabby) Dolechek of Raleigh, NC, Matt Dolechek of Bel Aire; grandchildren, Natalie, Caleb, Madeline, Xavier, McKenzie, Evelyn; sister, Doris Ille of Salina, KS; brother, Loren Ille of Great Bend, KS. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family while taking part in adventures of traveling, skiing, biking, hiking, canoeing, sewing, and playing games. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to: St. Katharine Drexel Catholic School Fund, Diocesan Catholic High Schools (Kapaun, Bishop Carroll, Trinity), Seminarian Education Fund, ALL c/o Catholic Diocese of Wichita 424 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS, 67202. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - East Chapel.
