Dixie Jean Adair

Dixie Jean Adair, 86, Retired Parts Analyst from Beechcraft, died Thursday, October 12, 2017. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday, October 16, 2017, at Downing & Lahey East. Services will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at University Congregational Church 9209 E. 29th St N., Wichita, KS. Reception immediately following. Interment at Dunlap Cemetery Rose Hill, KS. Dixie was an avid duplicate bridge player and achieved the level of Silver Life Master. She thoroughly enjoyed life, family and friends, and never met a stranger. Preceded in death by her husband, Joebob Adair; parents, O.S. and Tessie Bertram; sister, Dorothy (Aubrey) Farel; brother, Joe Rex (Dorothy) Bertram. Survived by her son, Brett Adair of Rose Hill, KS; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with the American Heart Association 1861 N. Rock Rd. #380, Wichita, KS, 67206.
