Dolores Dell Dody Leonard

Dolores Dell "Dody" Leonard, was born in Wichita, Kansas on November 17, 1928, the first of four girls born to Joseph and Beulah Dungan. Dolores grew up in Riverside and it was there that she met her best friend, Donald Leonard, and fell in love. Dolores and Don were married at Woodland Methodist Church on July 11, 1947, and together they raised six children. Their love grew deeper over their nearly 65 year marriage; their time on earth together ended with Dons passing on June 26, 2012. Full of love and compassion, she was a woman of great virtue and nothing brought her more pleasure than being a mother she was "Mom" and later "Grandma" to all who were fortunate enough to know her. On October 11, 2016, she rejoined her beloved Don, leaving the company of her four daughters, Kathryn (John) Loiacono, Sondra Garvey, Jennifer (Randy) Tohill and Donna Roberts; her two sons, Mike and Jeff (Ronnie); 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Leta (Lyle) OBryan and Sylvia Klopp, and her brothers-in-law, Lyle OBryan and Harold Leonard.
