  1. I worked with Donnie for about 10 years, he is a great guy and was so knowledgeable but always taught you something in a humourous way. He helped me through some tough times this was especially true on 9/11. We were in a work scheduling meeting when the planes hit New York, my husband worked on the military side at Boeing and was due to fly out that morning. Phones weren’t working so I couldn’t find out if he was okay. I made it through my meeting but sat down staring blankly at the wall trying to figure out what to do next. He comes back in the conference room after the meeting and says, “Hey sis what’s going on?” He sat there with me and calmed me down before I went to my next meeting. It might not seem like much but it was the kindest thing and what I needed to get through the day. Phones cleared up later and I found out my hubby was fine. Just like Donnie said, everything would be okay. Don, thank-you for all those dad talks I needed. My prayers go out to your family.

  2. so sorry to hear about Don, he was the nicest, funniest and easiest going man that i have known. Such a Great Guy.
Don helped coach my son baseball at West Urban, he was very helpful and patient with him along with the other players.
Also i remember the weekly bowling nights at West Acres. we hardly talked about bowling, we would talk about this and that but mainly we would talk about our families and Don was very proud of everyone in his family.
Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
