Don Korber, 78, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019. He was a life-long farmer in North Sedgwick County. He attended Valley Center High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Marie. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, of 59 years; daughters, Angi (Jeff), Amy (Wes); son, David (Lisa); grandchildren, Kyleigh, Cristin, Jamie, Dylan, Trey, Sam, Dane, Shannon, Jack, Liesel; six great-grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2019, at First United Methodist Church of Valley Center. A memorial has been established with: Valley Center Community Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 218, Valley Center, KS 67147; First United Methodist Church of Valley Center, 560 N. Park Ave., Valley Center, KS 67147. Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
