Brady, Donald E. “Don,” 78, retired Safeway Store Manager, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014. Visitation is 4:00 - 6:00 P.M., Friday, Nov. 28, 2014; Funeral Service is 1:30 P.M., Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, both at Downing Lahey East Mortuary. Don was born December 8, 1935 in Kingman, KS to Elmer and Daisy (Starkey) Brady. He graduated from Wichita East High School in 1953. Don married Margie Brooks on June 23, 1957. He served the United States Marine Corps from 1958-1964. Don was an active member of East Point Church of Christ and enjoyed woodworking, photography, boating, and spending time with family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Marjory, Jeanne, Daniel, Joan. Survived by his wife, Margie; children, Michael “Mike” (Kelly Labeth) Brady of Derby, Michele (Rick) Royal of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Jennifer, Justin (Rachel), Jacob, Luke, Bart (Shalin), Gabrielle (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Olivia, Cole, Jayli, Aiden, Colby, Madison.
