Donald Gary Don Ramsey

Donald Gary "Don" Ramsey, 82, passed away August 1, 2017, in Colwich, Kansas. Don was born on August 10, 1934, in Cedarville, Kansas, to Curtis and Anna (Robertson) Ramsey. He retired from the Air Force after 22 years then moved to Wichita to care for his parents. He worked as a Systems Analyst for Sedgwick County and retired from there in April of 1998. Don was preceded in death by his parents, and his only sister, Jackie. He is survived by his second wife of 29 years, Janet; children, Bret (Melody) Ramsey of Bellevue, WA, Darla Ramsey of Reno, NV and Eric Ramsey of Wichita; step-daughters, Wendy Hargis of Olathe, Julie Gaskill of Colwich and Shannon (Dan) Schneider of Lenexa; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family, 1-3 p.m., Saturday, August 5, Downing and Lahey Mortuary West.
