Donald Lee McAdoo

McAdoo, Donald Lee, 83, born June 19, 1930, died Monday, May 26, 2014, less than a month shy of 84. He was eighth of ten children born to Owen and Amanda McAdoo on June 19, 1930 in El Dorado, KS. He attended schools in El Dorado, was employed for many years for The Telephone Company, then as an Installer Repairman for Industrial Electronic Sound Co. He was a proud Veteran of the Korean War, serving on the USS Bradford. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Relda Jane McAdoo; and 8 of his siblings. He was an avid hunter, trap shooter and involved with his son in the Boy Scouts of America. Survivors: son, Dennis McAdoo (Robin); grandsons, Jacob McAdoo (Juliet), Adam McAdoo, Justin Taylor, Landon Taylor; great-grandson, Dax McAdoo; brother, Bill McAdoo (Beverly). Memorial Service will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Grace Lutheran Church. Private Interment. Donations may be made in Dons name to the Boy Scouts of America, Quivira Council, 3247 N.
