Donald Louis Smith, 87, Retired Aeronautical Engineer with General Electric and Boeing and a USAF Veteran, died Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Visitation will begin at 8:30 A.M., Friday, March 10, 2017; Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am, both at St. Elizabeth Chapel at Catholic Care Center. Donalds passion was dancing in all forms - ice dancing, square and round dancing, and ballroom dancing. He was also a commercial pilot and a Lewis Street singer. Preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Jule Smith; son, Ladd Smith; sister, Maurine Loufek; brother, Richard Smith; sister, Margaret Ann Vaughn; twin sister, Donna Everhart; beloved friend, Regina Jones. Survived by ex-wives, Phileann Miceli, J. Dannette Wingeier; twin daughters, Lydia Bigner, Linda Ballog; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
