Donald Mack “Don” Burns 89, Accountant, died Saturday, September 23, 2017. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2017. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 27, 2017, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Donald worked for IBM for 34 years. He also served in the United States Navy for 2 years at the end of WWII. Preceded in death by his parents, Justice Earl and Ruth Vivian Burns; 3 brothers; 3 sisters. Survived by his wife, Opal Marie Burns of Wichita, KS; daughter, Vivian Jewell of Andover, KS; sons, Gregory Burns, Kevin (Melissa) Burns both of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Jeremy and Justin Burns. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice 313 South Market, Wichita, Kansas 67202. Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.
