Grandpa you were the strongest man I knew growing up. You were always there for my mom, sister, and I. I love you and will always hold a special place in my heart. RIP.
Will deeply miss Don. He was a great guy to work with.
I remember the Thanksgiving day dinners with us gathered around your mothers table and the great stories your would tell. Fun and laughter! You will be missed.
I remember what fun it was growing up in Winfield. We had some great times out on the farm when we were kids. I always thought of you and Ron as my big brothers and Im sure you thought I was the pesky little cousin that was always tagging along. I remember the time the brakes didnt work on the model T and we jumped the curb in front of Birds Drug Store! I also remember staying with Aunt Nona and Uncle Shorty and you and Ron on the farm in Oklahoma and riding on the hay baler. Aunt Nona thought she would never get all of the straw out of my hair. Great memories of when we were young. We hadnt seen each other for quite some time but I thought of you often and Ron kept me up to date. Rest in peace and know that you were loved by many and thank you for your many years of service in the navy.
Donald will be missed. Donald was a wonderful person and a joy to be around! I enjoyed getting to you know you both Velma over the past few years. Many prayers to you Velma,
I havent seen Don in many many years, but I remember going to Aunt Nona and Uncle Shortys as a kid (with my Mom, Guyneth (Overeem) Casey) and being mesmerized by the cuckoo clock! Don gave me one of the cuckoo clocks he got in Germany and I still have it to this day! That was a very generous thing to do. May the good memories make us smile.
