Doris Mae Torske
May 11, 1939 ~ April 23, 2021
Doris Mae Torske went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2021. Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Nels Torske. Survivors include 3 sons, Roger (Kay) Torske, Rodney Torske and Joey (April) Torske; 2 daughters, Barb (Wray) Kucera and Kathy (Chuck) Torske-Luney; 15 grandkids and 22 great-grandchildren. Her love of the Lord guided her through life and led her Home. She will be greatly missed by all. Memorial Service, 10:00 am, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Risen Savior Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 6770 E. 34th St. N., Wichita, KS 67226. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.

I find myself picking up the phone to call to share any news or thoughts and then remembering that you are not just a phone call away anymore. You were always there for me from my arrival in the US 48 years ago. We shared a many times of happiness, sadness, fun, trips, shopping, meals, good and bad health and just daily life. I know you are now happy and pain free, but I miss my “big sis”
