Dorothy A. Porter, 81, loving wife, mother, and Grammie, joined family and friends Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., Sunday, July 21, 2013; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 22, 2013, both at Church of the Magdalen. Preceded in death by parents, Patrick and Delia (Connolly) McGrath; son, Thomas; sisters, Marion, Adeline, Margaret, Barbara, Geraldine; brothers, Patrick and William. Survived by husband, Harry Porter; children, Timothy of Wichita, Deborah (Robert) Gertner of Keller, TX, and Todd (Kim) Porter of Wichita; sisters, Madeline and Ruth; brother, John, all of Lynn, Mass.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6950 Squibb Rd., Mission, KS 66202. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
