Dorothy Dottie (Alford) Littleton

Dorothy "Dottie" (Alford) Littleton, 92, passed away June 21, 2017. Dottie was born January 10, 1925 to the late Mary (McCullough) and George Alford in Chanute, Kansas. She graduated from Chanute High School in 1942 and worked as a secretary for Continental Trailways Bus System in Wichita for 37 years, retiring in 1980. She was a lifetime member of Leanna Christian Church, Leanna, KS. On May 14, 1960, she married John H. Littleton. He passed away May 24, 1993 from a heart attack. In 2007, she was preceded in death by her sister, Fern Tolbert. Survivors include sister-in-law, Donna Littleton of Wichita; step-daughter, Kay Toenies of Anchorage, AK; surrogate family, Gayla and Fred Puthoff and their children Derek, Justin, Hannah and Jenna, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service, 10 a.m., Monday, June 26, Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery. Memorial established with Marjories Home, 524 N. Main, Garden Plain, KS 67050.
