Dorothy Eloise Pennington, 87, gentle and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, went to meet her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Visitation, 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 28; Service, 10 a.m., Saturday, April 29, both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Dolly Daugherty, and sister, Ruthie. Survivors: husband, Max; son, Michael (Debbie) Pennington; daughters, Michelle (Stephen) Smith, Angela (Frank) Chambers, Pamela (Gregory) Kiyak, Jeanna (Skip) Steely; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
